Rome Sacked/ Falls to Barbarians

I wil be interviewing King Alaric of the barbarians. Date September 24, 410.

Emily- Hello King Alaric!
King Alaric- Hola!

Q: so the word is going around that you have something to do with the sack of Rome, can you tell me about this?
A: Yes, i would be happy to! about a year ago we surrouned Rome to take over, us barbarians kept demanding goods and cut off all trade from Rome. This went on for a about a year until a month ago and we decied to take over. we destroyed everything in Rome and killed many of the people.

Q: What do you think will happen to Rome in the next few hundred years?
A: I think that they will go in a so called "Dark Ages".

Q: why do you think this?
A: i am thinking this because the people now do not feel safe. we took away and destroyed the creat city. when people feel safe they create and express themselfs. now no one feels safe. i will say that this is a hard loss for all the people in Rome but a great acomplishment for the Barbian people.

Emily- Thanks

I have also ordered the creation of aqueducts and the arch. Which these two inventions will help get running water to the cities.

Q: How is Constantinople doing?
A: i think the city is honestly running really smoothly with the new water ways and trade. This city has united Rome.

Hello my name is Emily and i will be asking questions to Alexander the Great. Date February 17, 332.
Q: Alexander what do you think was your greatest achievement?
A: Hello Emily! Thank you for interviewing me. The greatest achievement I think i ever had was defeating Persia about a year ago.
